How Mercari works out its fees
- The selling fee is 10% of the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays.
- Payment processing: none, on a listing made or updated on or after 6 January 2025. An older listing that was never updated is not counted here.
- Shipping the buyer pays is taken to pay for the label, so what you keep is the sale price less the fee. If you offered free shipping, the label is yours to pay: add it to what you paid for the item and your profit counts it.
Not counted: promotions, and Mercari's fee to cash out instantly.
