Everything Point and Sell does for a seller
Take the photos. We do the listing. Point and Sell turns phone photos of your comics, books, records, games and more into finished, checked eBay listings, with Whatnot, Shopify and Discogs files from the same batch, and once you turn crosslisting on, keeps your sites in step when something sells.
78 features in 10 categories, 20 of them big. In each category the big ones come first and are marked Big; the newest are marked New.
By Winston, Comic Collector Enthusiast, an eBay comic seller with 11,000+ sales. Every plan has every feature unless a card says otherwise; plans differ in how much you list. Pricing.

Listing from photos
20 features, 5 big
Shoot a box on your phone
Open the site on your phone and press Shoot a box. It counts as you go ("Comic 12, shot 7 of 10") and uploads while you shoot, so there is no upload to wait for at the end.
The whole listing, written for you
Each item gets its title, eBay category, item specifics and description, built from your photos and your settings.
Why it matters: Most crosslisting apps have you write the listing yourself, or charge extra to draft one.
Covers read and double checked
A comic's cover is read, the issue number in its barcode is a second reading, and the comic is matched against the Grand Comics Database for its year and creators. On our test of more than 300 real comic covers, the right comic came back around 99 percent of the time.
Every row beside its cover
Check and fix any field before anything lists. Rows that need a look are marked so you check those first.
Why it matters: Nothing reaches eBay until you approve it.
Checked against eBay's rules first
Every row is checked for title length, item specifics, store categories, your shipping policies and photos before eBay sees it, and a problem names the row.
Use any camera
Prefer your phone's own camera app or a real camera? Upload the photos on the New batch form. Each photo is its own item, or pick several photos per item in Settings and they are grouped by the pause between items or the shot count you set.
Duplicates caught
If you already have that comic live, the row says DUPLICATE with the eBay item number, so you do not list a twin by accident.
Key issues flagged
Every comic is checked against a key issue list, and a likely key priced too low is marked WORTH MORE or CHECK THIS ONE before it goes up for a dollar.
Lots in a few ticks
Tick lot, type the issues (1-8 or 1,2,5), type the lot's price, and merge in the other photos. Shoot a lot with the Lot button and it counts as one listing.
Titles your way
See the exact title eBay will get and its length, type your own, add a variant like "Cover B" so two versions are not twin listings, add a title suffix, or put the grade in comic titles.
Photos cropped in close
A photo that is plainly one whole comic on the table is cropped in close. Anything doubtful is left as shot, and Undo puts a cover back.
Fix any photo in place
Turn, flip, crop, tighten, pick the cover, remove a photo, or start a new item at a photo, right on the review screen.
A missing year, estimated
When a comic's year cannot be read, the year, or just its era when that is all we can be sure of, is filled in from what we know, and the row is tagged so you can check it. Inventory (for a comic not listed yet) and the run of show sheet say it as an estimate, like "about 2003".
Complete series
Tick complete and the title says Complete Series, and the listing goes to your complete-series store category.
Lots against your live singles
The review screen tells you when issues in a lot are already live as singles and will compete on price.
Your spelling, learned
Series and publisher names are spelled the way you spell them, learned from the eBay exports you upload and the batches you approve.
Your words on every listing
Write your description boilerplate once (your sale terms, your shipping practices), with separate ones for books, records, games, Funko Pops, movies and CDs.
Keyboard shortcuts
Press ? on the comic review screen: move between rows, jump to the price and grade, tick lot, all without the mouse.
Close the tab
Covers are read while you do something else, and an email tells you when the batch is ready to review.
Accuracy you can see
The Accuracy page counts what you corrected, field by field, so you can see how well your boxes are read.
What you can list
5 features, 1 big
Ten kinds of item
Comics, graphic novels and trades, books, magazines, vinyl records, video games, Funko Pops, DVDs and Blu-rays, CDs and cassettes, and tabletop RPGs. Each lists in the right eBay category with that category's item specifics.
Tabletop RPGs
New: D&D and other tabletop RPG books, modules and boxed sets. Shoot the front, the back and the title page. An ISBN is looked up, a TSR module code is checked against our table, and Complete is only ever your call. They list in eBay's Role Playing Games categories and go to Whatnot and Shopify too.
Books from the ISBN
Type the ISBNs or photograph the barcodes, and each book is looked up for you.
Graded comics done properly
Tick graded and type the grader, grade and cert number from the label. They go in the title and in eBay's grade fields. We never decide a comic is graded from a photo, and never guess a grade.
Records checked against Discogs
A record's barcode or catalogue number is checked against the Discogs catalogue to confirm it or flag a misread.
Pricing
7 features, 1 big
Price estimates, and you decide
It shows price estimates from several sources, and you decide the price. Beside each price on the review screen: PriceCharting's value for comics, games and Funko Pops, your own sales history and key issue checks for comics, and a rough estimate if you turn it on.
PriceCharting values on the row
A PRICECHARTING chip shows the guide's current value for that exact comic, game or Funko Pop, linked to their page.
Your own sales history
The YOUR HISTORY chip shows your own sell-through for that series.
Your own price rule
Set one line in Settings (a percent of PriceCharting's value, a floor, and .99 endings if you like), leave the starting price blank, and it prices the rows it matched for sure. It never touches a price you typed.
A second opinion on comics
Turn it on in Settings and an OPINION chip gives a rough estimate of what a comic typically sells for. Fair on cheap books, unreliable on keys, and it counts one cover per 25 comics against your monthly listings.
Spot the ones with no evidence
A list of the comics with no price evidence at all, so you can look before you approve.
Reprice a whole box at once
On a comic box of 12 rows or more, one control moves every row at one price to another.
eBay
11 features, 2 big
List on eBay with one press
Connect eBay once, tick "I checked every row", and press List on eBay. The batch page shows which rows went live.
See what is not selling
Every listing older than the days you pick, by box, with watchers, your own history, and how often each was shown and opened in eBay search over the last 90 days.
Auction or Buy It Now, per row
Run a batch as auctions (1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days), as Buy It Now, or a mix, with the auction tick on each row.
Mark down in bulk
Take a percentage off or set a flat price on the rows you tick, preview it, then send it to eBay or download the Revise file. Auctions are left alone.
Or download the file
Prefer to upload yourself? Download a checked eBay File Exchange file, upload it in Seller Hub, and drop eBay's report on the batch to see what went live.
Reads eBay for you
With eBay connected, it reads your live listings, today's orders, views and fees, so you do not have to download reports.
Know the moment it sells
With eBay's sale notices on, every sale is recorded the moment eBay says so.
Opening bids your way
Type the opening bid, a flat amount or a fraction of each row's price; it is never guessed. Each auction row has its own Buy It Now box: empty means none, and a price there must be at least 30 percent above the opening bid, as eBay requires.
Fix live listings from here
Edit a batch again and send a Revise to change titles, prices and item specifics on live listings in place, or a Photos Revise to replace the photos.
Refused rows, fixed and sent again
If eBay refuses a row, you see why. Fix it and send just the refused rows, never the whole batch again.
Turn stale singles into a lot
Runs of three or more unsold singles of one series in one box are offered as a lot, with their photos, and the End file for the singles once the lot is up.
Other sites and crosslisting
8 features, 2 big
Crosslisting: one count, your connected sites kept in step
Crosslisting is in every plan once you turn it on in Settings: each comic has one count, a sale on eBay or your connected Shopify store lowers it, and your other connected sites are changed to match, usually within minutes, with every step in a log you can read. Whatnot and Discogs take files you upload for now, and one tap marks a sale made there, on HipComic or in person.
Why it matters: eBay's quantity is changed for you where that is switched on for your account; otherwise the log says what to lower on eBay. Two sales close together on two sites can still both go through, so check the log.
Every file from every batch
Tick Whatnot, Shopify or Discogs when you start a batch, or make the file from a finished batch at any time, at no extra listings. Once eBay has the batch, the file leaves out what it knows has sold.
Sold elsewhere, in one tap
Sold at a show table or on a site with no link? Press Sold elsewhere on the comic in Inventory, pick where and how many, and the count drops once, even on a double tap. A Whatnot sale already counted through your store is caught and asked about first.
The crosslisting log
Every sale and every change it made on each site, newest first, in plain words, like "15AA-007: 1 sold on Whatnot (marked by you), count 3 to 2".
Your Shopify store, connected
Connect your store and a batch's products are made there with one press. With eBay's sale notices on, a comic that sells on eBay comes off sale in the store, and a store sale is recorded and lowers the count.
Shopify products file
The same batch makes a products file for your Shopify store, as drafts unless you choose to publish on import (comics, graphic novels, books, magazines and tabletop RPGs).
Discogs inventory file
Record batches get a Discogs inventory file. A record goes in when exactly one Discogs pressing matches it; any other is named, with why, for you to add by hand.
Told when it is listed elsewhere
With eBay connected, when an eBay sale was also in a Whatnot, Shopify or Discogs file, you get an email so you can take it down there.
Shows and streaming
6 features, 3 big
Whatnot show and Buy It Now files
Tick Whatnot when you start a batch and get the live auction show file with your opening bids, a printable run-of-show sheet, and the Buy It Now store file, in the whole dollars Whatnot requires.
Live-show mode
While your Whatnot show is on, your other sites show fewer copies, at most the number you pick (one by default), so a sale that settles late cannot sell a copy twice. Whatnot shows every copy, a comic with one copy always shows it, and a show turns itself off after the hours you set.
Why it matters: Your count never changes because of it, and the log says what each site was given. Off unless you turn it on.
Show prep from your counts
With crosslisting on, pick comics for a Whatnot show by box, label, days listed or price. Each goes in with no more copies than you have, and a comic whose count is 0 or unknown is left out with the reason. Download the show file and the run of show sheet.
Leftovers back to eBay
Press Show over and what did not sell is worked out from the sales the log heard. A leftover still live on eBay stays as it is; one that is not goes in an eBay file at the show's price, checked like every eBay file.
Whatnot shows from what is already on eBay
Pick a box and get the show file and run-of-show sheet from what is still live on eBay, in box order. Or tick rows on Stale stock and make them a show.
End sold Whatnot items on eBay
After a show, paste the sold labels and send the End file, or download it.
Inventory, sales and records
8 features, 2 big
The pick list: every order, box by box
Read today's orders from eBay with one press, or drop the orders report, and get one sheet sorted by box then slot. Every line starts with its order's number in a big box you can read at arm's length, then the buyer's eBay username, the order and the ship-by date. Orders are numbered earliest ship-by first.
Why it matters: Then Pack by order starts a new printed page with one block per order, a tick box for each item and single orders marked, so every comic goes in the right package.
Find any comic
The Inventory page answers "where is this comic" and "what is in this box", and exports everything as one spreadsheet.
Whatnot sales on the same sheet
Paste the custom labels from a Whatnot post-show report and they join the pick list. A line like "Show: Friday night" gives each show its own pile, tagged W1, W2, packed apart from your eBay orders.
The label is the box
Every listing's custom label is the box and slot, like 76TR-012, so any sale or search points to the shelf. Change the pattern in Settings.
Every sale by email
One email per sale, or a roundup every 30 minutes, hourly or daily, naming the custom label, box, title, price and order number, to you and up to five more addresses.
Profit per box
Type what a box cost and see what has sold from it, eBay's own fees where read, whether it has paid for itself, and roughly how many weeks until it does.
Box audit
Shoot a box and compare it with your live listings: listed but missing from the box, in the box but not listed, and inside a lot.
Shipping policies matched
Two slots, Comics and books, and Parcel, so magazines, manga, games and Funko Pops ship on the right policy, plus package sizes and weights a row can override.
Shops and teams
4 features, 1 big
Your staff, in your account
Up to five people in one account. Add staff by email; each signs in with their own address and works in your account, but cannot see billing or change who is on the account. Every batch carries the address of whoever started it.
Shop planEnterprise, for the biggest stores
More than 5,000 listings a month, a custom allowance, as many sign-ins as the shop needs, invoiced billing. Write to [email protected].
EnterpriseVery big stores, counted from eBay's own report
A store too big to load in full gets each comic's count from eBay's own inventory report of the store, read once a day with eBay connected, so crosslisting works at any size.
Enterprise-size storesStore categories routed for you
Paste your eBay Store category numbers once, then add your own rules (publisher, series, era, year, format, single or lot, price). The first match wins.

Pay for listings, not features
Plans are counted in listings a month. One plan price covers every marketplace file, with no charge per marketplace.
Start free, no card
Your first 20 listings are free with no card. A card is asked for at the 21st listing, to start the free trial's other 30: nothing is charged until you approve your 50th listing or 30 days after the card goes on, whichever comes first, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing.
Try one free, no email
One photo at pointandsell.com/try and see the finished eBay listing. No email, no card.
See a sample batch
Ten comics on the real review screen, read only, no sign-up.
Help, free

No password to lose
Sign in with a link or a six-digit code sent to your email.
We never keep your buyers
From orders we keep the order number, item, label, price, quantity and date, never the buyer. We do not sell your data.
Leave whenever you want
Cancel from Plan & billing, export your inventory, or delete your account from Settings: it waits 30 days in case you change your mind, or Delete now erases it at once.

Coming soon
The very big things we are working on now. No dates until they are ready.
- Phone apps for iPhone and Android. Point and Sell on the App Store and Google Play.
- Whatnot and HipComic, connected directly. Sales and counts kept in step with Whatnot and HipComic on their own, once each site gives us access. Until then Whatnot takes Point and Sell's files, and one tap marks a sale on either.
See it on one of yours. Take one photo of a comic's front cover. Point and Sell shows you the eBay listing it makes, with no email and no sign-up.
Or sign up and do a whole box. Your first 20 listings are free with no card. A card is asked for at the 21st listing, to start the free trial's other 30: nothing is charged until you approve your 50th listing or 30 days after the card goes on, whichever comes first, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing.
