eBay Best Offer calculator

Type your asking price and the buyer's offer. See what eBay keeps and what you keep at each, and the lowest offer that leaves you what you want.

How an offer changes eBay's fee

  • eBay charges its fee on the whole order: the price the item sells for, the shipping the buyer pays and the sales tax eBay collects. Accept an offer and the offer is that price, so the fee falls with it.
  • The per-order fee is $0.30 on an order of $10.00 or less and $0.40 above it, so an offer that takes the whole order to $10.00 or less pays $0.10 less of it.
  • Shipping and postage stay the same at every offer here.
  • The common offers are a share of your asking price, rounded to the cent.
  • The lowest offer is the lowest from which every higher offer leaves you at least what you typed, after the fees, the postage and what the item cost you. eBay lets you decline offers below a price you set automatically, and that is a natural number for it. An automatic accept price has to be below your Buy It Now price, eBay's Best Offer help page says.
  • A store, Top Rated Plus, a promoted listing and a buyer outside the US are worked as the eBay fee calculator works them; it explains each one and lists every category's rate.

Not counted here: an eBay Store's monthly subscription; and the extra fees a below-standard seller pays, or a seller rated very high for not-as-described returns.
